Basic CPR and AED

This class is for everyone that is not working in the medical field and does NOT need first aid. The skills in this class include: Opening airway, Rescue breathing, Choking for the conscious and unconscious victim, and CPR. You will also learn the importance of proper patient assessment.

Details

  • This is for Adult ONLY certification. Child and Infant can be added if needed.
  • Certifications are issued through ProTrainings and are accepted for all forms of non-healthcare related certification requirements.
  • American Heart Association Certificates available for an additional $25 fee due to higher rates for these certification cards.

  • This program meets all OSHA requirements. Certifications available through The American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety and Health Institute, Medic First Aid
  • Our instructors meet the requirements for the Kentucky Cabinet of Health and Family Services approved vendor program as required by Kentucky Foster Parent Handbook.

Certification

  • There is an additional fee for American Heart Association Heartsaver certifications only. For all other certification companies (most common option) there will be no additional fees
